The Bell institute of Hotel management comprises of a ten acre campus within which is a working replica of an actual 5 star hotel. This consists of a fully functional front office which is equipped with currency converters, world time display, a Bell desk to add authenticity to the experience of the students working here .There is also a fully functional bar stocked with a choice selection of spirits to serve as a trial base for bartending enthusiasts and a training kitchen with the state of the art equipment.
A house keeping training lab has been designed keeping the most minute details in mind to accurately reflect the opulence of today’s hotels and a fully equipped bakery with European equipment to enable students to master every nuance associated with the baking and patisserie profession.
We also have a diverse library with books on every aspect of the catering industry, which is supplemented by a 24 hour internet connection, a microbiology lab with qualified professionals, a farm with a poultry unit, a dairy unit, a butchery unit, a vegetable garden and a coconut grove to take students back to the basics of food production.
Some of the members on our faculty roster include Professor Peter A Jones, Head of the London School of Tourism, Celebrity Chef Mr. Damodharan, along with a host of others from Australia, Scotland, USA, China and France to give students a world view of the global trends emerging in the hospitality and catering industry. |
